What are some other ways to respond to someone saying "thank you" besides "de rien" or "vous êtes bienvenue"?

“De rien” is a translation of the Spanish de nada.

“Vous etes bienvenue” is a literal translation of the English “You’re welcome”. I have never heard it used in France.

“Avec plaisir.”

Why do American conservatives say that America is a constitutional republic and not a democracy? Would it not make sense to call America a constitutional republican democracy?
